Dave Reynolds
After a long career with British Telecommunications, plc (the $40 billion market leader in infocoms in the UK), where he held the position of Director Internal Audit & Regulatory Compliance (DIARC) for three years, Dave Reynolds retired in July 2007. At BT, Reynolds managed a $16 million budget and directed a team of 100 audit and telecommunications regulatory compliance professionals covering the entirety of BT's global operations. In his earlier career with BT, he also held management positions in finance, logistics, and property management.
Reynolds worked with his BT team extensively throughout Europe, India, and the U.S., and has maintained a network of global contacts. He is well-known in western European internal audit circles and speaks regularly on the professional conferencing circuit. Reynolds also held the position of visiting lecturer in Governance and Internal Audit at Nijenrode University in the Netherlands for three years. He contributed to a recently published academic book authored by Professor Jeffrey Ridley, a renowned UK internal audit academic. Reynolds is also chairman of the Institute of Internal Auditors in Scotland, and he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in social sciences including economics and human geography.
