Dave Beering serves as Managing Director at MorganFranklin overseeing the Advanced Networks team based in West Chicago, Ill. His responsibilities involve the design, integration, and deployment of large-scale, high-performance satellite networks for clients including the Missile Defense Agency, NASA, the U.S. Navy, the city of Chicago, and numerous national laboratories serving the U.S. Department of Energy.
Dave's areas of expertise include complex satellite communications systems, mobile communications systems, IP networks, network research and development, high-speed data transfer over satellites, and multi-level security networks. He specializes in the areas of homeland security, national security, space flight, and production-quality video broadcast.
Prior to joining MorganFranklin, Dave was the principal and founder of Infinite Global Infrastructures, a professional services firm. During the nine-year history of IGI, the company delivered more than 50 operational systems to clients on five continents, providing applications to platforms ranging from land mobile vehicles to ships, aircraft, and spacecraft. Prior to his tenure at IGI, Dave worked for seven years for Amoco Corporation in Chicago and served for five years with AT&T Communications.

Dave holds both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in electrical and computer engineering from Purdue University. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the Association for Computing Machinery, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and the American Meteorological Society. Dave is also a board member of the Space Enterprise Council of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
