Erik Ayers serves as Vice President of Marketing at MorganFranklin and is responsible for the company’s marketing strategy and operations and commercial sector business development. Erik brings extensive experience in B2B marketing, sales, public relations, research, and strategy. In this role, Erik is also responsible for leading and managing efforts to build awareness and demand. His team’s issues and client-centered marketing strategies focus on MorganFranklin’s dedication to providing the best value and client experience for companies facing high-stakes challenges.

Erik previously served as president of DBC Public Relations, where he supported strategic growth initiatives, operations, and business development. In 1998, he joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as director of business development. Erik also served as marketing manager for the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority. Earlier in his career, he delivered competitive intelligence research and analysis of emerging technology and environmental trends for the U.S. Army Environmental Policy Institute and the Technology Policy and Assessment Center at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Erik is as an active member in the business community and earned accolades early in his career as one of the top 40 emerging professionals and top 10 young professionals in the Washington region. He has held a number of leadership roles with organizations such as the Business Alliance of George Mason University and many others.

Erik holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from East Carolina University and a Master of Science in public policy from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
