Peter Sobich serves as a Managing Director at MorganFranklin where he plays a key role in the public sector division. His responsibilities include strategic planning and practice development for all MorganFranklin areas of expertise in the federal marketplace.

In addition to possessing extensive private and public sector experience, Peter's areas of expertise include business transformation, strategic planning, process improvement, change management, project management, and IT strategy. He specializes in organizational, process, and performance reviews, strategic plan development and implementation, studies or assessments, and project setup and management.

Prior to joining MorganFranklin, Peter most recently served as an associate partner in the federal practice of IBM Business Consulting Services. He worked with account leaders to identify and capture business opportunities at federal agencies, led key aspects of the practice's strategic planning process, and built strong relationships with senior agency leaders.

Peter previously served as special assistant to the president and deputy Cabinet secretary at the White House. In this role, he worked closely with other White House offices on a wide range of strategic initiatives and collaborated with senior agency leaders on policy implementation. He was also involved in policy issues related to every Cabinet agency, with a focus on the economy, technology, trade, and homeland security.

Prior to his experience at the White House, Peter served as a managing consultant in the federal practice of IBM Business Consulting Services, formerly PwC Consulting, where he worked with private and public sector leaders on a wide range of management and organizational challenges.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington in Seattle and earned his MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
