Rob Blake serves as Managing Director of Systems Integration Solutions and Maintenance Management and Support Services within MorganFranklin's public sector business unit. He specializes in the delivery of high-end fixed, mobile, and transportable communications and IT systems, and provides maintenance and maintenance management services for a wide spectrum of communications and IT hardware. Rob is also responsible for practice development, strategic planning, and business development, and manages profitability of projects. He possesses more than 18 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, with specific expertise in radio frequency (RF) communications and organizational development.
During his tenure with MorganFranklin, Rob has performed evaluations of Tactical Interoperable Communications Plans (TICP) for large urban centers around the country, and he co-authored a white paper on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology (S&T) Directorate on the subject of using digital and Internet protocol (IP)-centric technologies to solve common interoperability challenges faced by emergency management and first responder organizations. He has also developed customized, mission-specific vehicular command, control, and communications systems, as well as secure and non-secure fixed IT and communications infrastructure and data centers. Additionally, Rob has provided oversight for a large-scale maintenance project that sustains the operation of more than 19,000 equipment items that travel in support of the highest levels of the U.S. government.

Prior to joining MorganFranklin, Rob served for 10 years in the United States Air Force, including five years serving as a senior quality manager at the White House Communications Agency (WHCA). During this time, he facilitated the organizational redesign of the White House Military Office (WHMO), including numerous business process re-engineering and statistical analysis efforts for various White House entities. Rob also traveled as an RF communications engineer to 55 cities worldwide, providing presidential telecommunications services in quick-response, scenario-dependent environments.
Rob earned a Bachelor of Science degree in management from National-Louis University and holds a strategic planning facilitation certificate from the American Management Association. He is a member of the American Council for Technology (ACT) Industry Advisory Council (IAC), serving as the programs officer on the board of the Networks and Telecommunications Shared Interest Group (SIG) Wireless Committee. Rob is also an active member of the 1600 Communications Association and the Armed Forces Communications Electronics Association (AFCEA).
