Sean Turner serves as Managing Director in MorganFranklin's Commercial Services group. In this role, Sean oversees client service delivery as well as business and practice development activities.
Sean possesses more than 15 years of experience acting as a senior advisor to client executives in the areas of U.S. GAAP and IFRS accounting, SEC and statutory reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley Act, internal and external audit, operational and financial due diligence, and complex financial transactions.
He has specific experience in delivering the following service offerings to MorganFranklin clients: restatement support; transaction services (pre- and post-deal); technical accounting advisory services; legal entity books and records analysis and rationalization; SEC reporting; preparation of statutory financial statements and reconciliation to local ledgers; implementation and monitoring of SOX 404 compliance; internal audit services; financial reporting services; and audit support services.
Prior to joining MorganFranklin, Sean led the finance and accounting department at Para-Protect, an information security and consulting firm located in northern Virginia. In this role, he was responsible for all domestic and international financial reporting, budgeting, banking and investor relations, financial audits and tax returns, quality control, and management of day-to-day operations. Previously, Sean worked in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Coopers & Lybrand, and BDO Seidman, where he supervised the financial statement audit process for both public and privately held companies in a variety of industries including consumer products, high-technology, financial services, retail, telecom, media, and manufacturing.

Sean earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of New Hampshire. He is also licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in New Hampshire and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
