In a move to expand its business and geographical presence, MorganFranklin Corp. has opened an office in downtown Chicago to provide financial advisory and management consulting services. The new Chicago office allows MorganFranklin to deliver a wide range of finance and accounting, risk management and business operations support services to the commercial market. The office will be managed by Bruce Hanson, MorganFranklin Vice President - Midwest Region.
"With our expansion into the Chicago market, MorganFranklin Corp. now brings comprehensive enterprise-wide solutions and services to help clients in the Midwest tackle a variety of business challenges," said Robert Morgan, CEO of MorganFranklin. "We anticipate significant growth in the region over the next year, and are looking forward to establishing long-lasting relationships in this market."
The expansion complements MorganFranklin's existing local technology expertise. Earlier this year, the Washington, D.C.-based company acquired IGI, LLC, a West Chicago-based firm specializing in high-performance communication systems. The company recently outfitted a state-of-the-art mobile command vehicle for Chicago's Office of Emergency Management and Communications (OEMC). MorganFranklin turned formal ownership of the vehicle over to The City of Chicago on December 1, 2006.
In addition to Chicago OEMC, MorganFranklin counts among its clients BearingPoint, British Telecom, Hughes Network Systems, Freddie Mac, Verizon, U.S. FoodService and The Washington Post, in addition to a number of U.S. military and federal government agencies.
