MorganFranklin Corporation, a professional services firm, recently named Denise Pollack as the company’s Human Resources Director. Her responsibilities will consist of planning and directing programs for all human resources areas including recruiting, employee relations and equal employment opportunity. Pollack will also keep abreast of legislative changes and trends that may affect human resources policies and procedures.

Her past experience included Human Resources and Administration Manager for Internal Affairs and Government Relations at United Technologies Corporation (UTC) where Pollack was responsible for providing HR and budget support for the Washington, D.C., office and six international offices. Her duties also included budgetary support for the UTC Senior Vice President.

Pollack also served as Vice President and Director of Human Resources at APCO Worldwide, a public relations and strategic communications firm with 22 offices worldwide. She administered programs and policies for three U.S. offices and developed a worldwide employee policy manual with in-house General Counsel. Additionally, Pollack automated HR documents and procedures to streamline productivity and increase accuracy.

As the Human Resources Administrator for Arter & Hadden, LLP, Pollack handled benefits coordination. In this position, Pollack, who earned a B.A. from the University of Maryland, was also responsible for recruiting, disciplinary situations and counseling legal staff on personnel related matters.

“As we continue to expand and to focus on fostering the MorganFranklin culture of excellence, it will be beneficial to have someone with Denise Pollack’s extensive expertise to further enhance our HR department,” said Ronald Morgan, MorganFranklin CFO. “Denise’s broad range of talents will augment our efforts to maintain an environment that is a rewarding place to work, and to attract talent in what continues to be a phenomenal growth process for MorganFranklin.”
