Perry Menezes

MANAGING DIRECTOR, GLOBAL FINANCIAL SERVICES SECTOR LEAD FOR CYBERSECURITY

Perry Menezes is a managing director for the cybersecurity practice at MorganFranklin Consulting where he leads the financial services cybersecurity industry sector. Perry is responsible for helping clients navigate rising cybercrime, cybersecurity, and compliance challenges amid increasing regulations and threats.

With over 20 years of business experience across multiple disciplines, Perry assists clients in developing strategies to achieve improved efficiencies and operating margins by adopting and securing new technologies (e.g., cloud computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning and automation), implementing global resource and operating models, converging similar IT and operational technology functions, and restructuring their processes to enable automation.

Prior to joining MorganFranklin, Perry was a partner at KPMG, where he led its consulting and advisory cyber practice for the banking sector. With more than 20 years of cybersecurity experience, Perry has helped some of the largest financial, technology, media, and healthcare organizations in the world navigate significant strategic initiatives. This included developing cyber markets, cyber accounts and cyber capabilities, and getting the practice to deliver on these. He has had the privilege of advising, guiding, and leading consulting and implementation engagements with leaders of top global financial firms. Perry has also collaborated with the MAS (Singapore), OCC (US) and the FedReserve (US) on regulatory matters. He was also previously the North America regional head of technology and cyber risk at Deutsche Bank USA.

Perry earned his M.S. in computer science from the University of Bridgeport and holds a certificate in Executive IT Management from Colombia University in New York City. Perry currently maintains CIPP, CISM, CISSP, and CRISC certifications.

Perry is also a regular speaker at several tech and risk forums, including the National Operational Risk Committee (NORC) of the OCC and a working member of the NY Cyber Task Force. Recently he was accepted to the US Marine Corps Cyber Auxiliary as a volunteer advisor.
